pro street alive and well
my profession is in the sign industry and this past wk end i was up
on a 60ft sign installing new panels for a body shop, when i felt the
lift vibrat and heard the sounds of the drag strip. I look down and
there before me was the convoy of pro-street cars around 10 just
cruisin slow and they were all beautiful big meat radical cam lift
cars, the one that stuck out was a bright orange 70 malibu with
white stripes, and boy they all looked like they were having the time
of their life, lets cruise and spread the love

I like hearing stories like this. I am very anxious to be out driving for the summer
It would be nice if I could find guys around my area with similar cars for cruising
pic from last July. urethane primer w/o trim or bumpers

all the pro-streeters. very nice, respectable hotrods, makes me want
to go and put a bigger cam in the family car, go out for ice cream.

I really enjoyed building and driving them prostreet cars when I was younger but I lacked the disipline needed to keep my foot out of it and many speeding tickets and many a night at the illegal street races narrowly avoiding capture by the police sent me packing, so I took my passion to the track and never looked back. Dont get my wrong now I love seeing them bad a$$ street cars and more power to ya, I'll just smile and give a thumbs up while I'm driving by in my big American made suv like it has a egg under the throttle pedal.
