Default Scat Rods

Any of you guys using the Pro Lite Scat Rods ? I am thinking about purchasing a set for a 496 project I am doing. Will be a 700-750hp motor.

Before someone says it "you get what you pay for" I know this but on a budget trying to slap 3 motors together, 1 down 2 to go.

Hey, if you're only gonna slap it together, go for it. Besides, you'll have two other engines as back-ups.

I'd like it to last if it does get used. Last thing I want is to lend it to a buddy to use and it breaks.

Are you talking about the Pro style, I beam rod with the 7/16 cap screw, that looks like a lunati Pro-mod rod? If so, those are decent for the money, and will hold up to your planned power.

The scat pro comp rods 2-icr6385-7/16 we have customers running them in 1100 horsepower engines. These are an awsome rod for the money.
