This track is in TN...Right ?...if so i have had in-laws race there for years.
Glen Carpenter..ran a chevy wagon back in the late 80's..3400lbs a D-stroked 283ci chevy..set a NHRA record with a backed up 7.50 et in the 1/8..Ring a bell ?
they live in Granger County,,right outside Bean Station ?

i hope we are talking about the same English Mountain Dragstrip..lol

I'd love the chance to own a dragstrip. I work for one now.

I only raced there 1 time in 2000 and the return road was rough as well as the track close to the finish line. Pretty fair all together though, I got runner-up the first time there

Then come buy the Hallsville Raceway 1/4 mile here in east Tx. We've been depressed ever since the owner let it shut down.

its an hour and a half away so it cost more to get ther and 411 is 5 minutes down the street and knoxville dragway is 45 minutes.....but 411 and knoxville dont run a bike program.......id like to see one get started on tuesday nights like they have in nashville at the hill, a ton of bikes and people show up every week
