Default heads for 505 chev

I am building and engine for my unlimited light hydroplane that races on water from courses between 1 mile and 1.5miles (ovals like nascar on waTER). The engine rpms would be from 3500 to 8000. once the race starts, the engine is wfo, there is rpm loss in the corners but not below 5000. velocity should be more important than sheer cfm. so....what would be a good head/intake combo. There are no rules governing this.
thanks in advance

actually the canfields 310 advertised flow numbers are remarkable.price is very good also.dont know anyone who bought them before though...but if your gonna go that approch of just cleaning bowls and gasket matched ports you may wanna think about em.but if you can swing the afr 315 cnc ported heads id make those probably a best fit cyl. head for you!
