OK HERE GOES SOME LOCAL RACERS WERE TALKING ABOUT CRANKSHAFT HEIGHT IN A CHASSIS DOOR CAR I TOLD THEM DEPENDS ON IF ITS A AUTOMATIC OR STICK BUT BOTH OF THE ness CARS IVE HAD WERE LIKE 13 1/2 RICK JONES CAR WAS 12 3/4 NEVER SEEN MANY MORE THAN THE ness DEAL ANY INPUT?

That seems high for a chassis car, do you mean to say a full tube car, struts 4 link as low as you can go? Or back halfed chassied car with stock style subframe, a-arms?
Typical full tube cars run 10-11" crank hight. The second style car can run anything, depending how low you can get the front end down and any crossmember restrictions for the oil pan.
Lower is usually better for crank hight, but again there are a lot of variables to look at for any particular car.
