Default strange bearings

i purchased a rebuild kit from Strange Engineering
for a 8.75 rear around a yr ago and finaly
got to working on the rear and went to unwrap the bearings and
noticed they were'nt Timken they were made in Japan to me
these are inferior bearings, i remember an old man when i packed
my first bearings, he said always and only use Timken bearings,
this rear end is going to see around 600 to 700 hrpwr i want
the best, no japan bearings for me.

Hate to disappoint you (i'm an old man also, in fact maybe the oldest man on this forum) but a lot of Timken bearing are now made in Japan. We gave them the technolagy and now they do it better. install them and go racing.
