Hi Jacob!
1st off welcome to the site!!!
There is a lot to learn and this site is the place to do it.
Start off by getting acquainted with the forums and read up as much as you can.
There are some great guys here, drag racers, engine, transmission builders etc. that can get you on track. (punny)
Do you have a car yet?
What kind of times are you thinking you want to run?
These are just some sample questions guys will need to know.
Remember, have fun and take what these guys say to heart, it will pay dividends in the long run.

The Lakeland Drag Strip site has a section that gives some good info on how to get started in drag racing. Visit the site and read or print the article for your info.
