Default prices

Wow prices are getting rediculous on race cars for sale. I know it takes alot to build one of them as I have built several in the past and currently building a 41 Willys from the ground up. But when it goes down the track, even if its just one time, it is used. Prices are starting to look as if every part on the cars are plated in gold or something, lol. I have let some go that had a strong sentimental attachment, but you cant charge for personal feelings, only the car and whats there. Am I wrong in feeling this way or do others feel this way too???

Parts and labor are thru the roof, and everybody wants to make a buck.

Years ago I spied a '49 Mercury in a pasture. Just a sheet metal shell with the frame on the ground. I went up to the farm house to ask and the old man said "I'd have to have 5grand, that there's a classic" IT HAD GOATS LIVING IN IT!
