as Carl said 10-15% off...but even then you still looking at 540hp..

remember what i told you about it probably capable of making 600 hp ..and no PROBLEMS MAKING 500 HP..

i did not pull these numbers out of the AIR or on a DESK top Dyno...this is real life expereience of running these 406ci motor over the past 10 years and testing them on real MOTOR DYNO'S..

as a said before my wife has a very,VERY mild 406ci I built her 3 yrs ago,out of the box steel Dart iron eagle heads, very small ( 520) flat tappet solid lift cam..off the shelf holley 750 carb....this motor dynoed 460hp at 6500 rpm..

you got a lot more 406ci then she has got trust me....

i had a very similer 406 in a 63 Bug..steel world heads ( bowl blended) and a slightly bigger cam with a 1000 silver claw carb aluminum rod motor..and it dynoed right at 620 hp...

So DO NOT be surprised at these numbers your stumbling on...

also sounds like your gonna put it on a chassis dyno..remember it will lose anywhere from 15% to 25/30% hp thru the chassis from the fly wheel

good luck.
