Drag Radials Choices
I am building a car . Building a car of this level is new for me and everything has to be planned ahead . The rear suspension will be built around the tires . So my question is M+H 390-45R15 drag radials on a 12'' rim with 6'' back spacing or 315-60R15 Mickey Thompson on a 10''rim with 5'' backspacing ? If I build the car for the M+H and it turns out I'm not happy with them I could change to the Mickey thompson's and run a 4'' backspacing . The car will be driven on the street to work ( 7 miles ) 2 or 3 times a month and to the track 1 or 2 times a year and cruising around . I think the M+H will shed rain slightly better but the general opinion seems to be drag radials on wet pavement is like driving on ice. Any information would be appreciated
