Twin Cities La. reopens
 

Ya Hoo :!: :!: , a 40 yr old track reopens with new owners after 18 mos. closier. It open Fri 13 th for T&T and races tonite. That's great it's only 30 miles from me, now i gotta get my act together and get ready to run.

Good to hear about a track reopening. Seems the trend is to close them down and build condos. :) Hope the new owners run it right. (Good track prep, payouts and amenities).

Zip, this is good news but I think the track is closer to 50 years old cause I went there in early 70's and it was not new then. Later J.Smith 4621 racing

I guess we have always took it for granted, because there are
4 tracks within 25-30 miles from my house and add another 20 miles
there are another 3.
I wouldn't want to think about not having any :cry:
