P/G Shift Lever ?
POWER/Glide ???
I have a Main Frame rail that runs with/in a 1/4 of the Trans pan,so my Question is? Can I Flip the Shift Lever over and use it in the Up Position, instead of Down?Seems like i had to do this once before but,My memory is getting Old like me? Anything that I will Need to do other than remove the Pan and take the Nut off that holds the lever inplace? THANKS! G 8) |
If you have room to bring the cable in from the front with the lever pointed up It will shift the same as the lever being down and the cable coming from the rear.Bill.

Glide
Bill,
If I have to?I will get a Longer cable, but that was what I had thought? THANKS Again! G 8) |
Yes you can flip the shift lever to the "up" position only if you will be pushing it select your gears. When its down in the normal position youre pulling it select your gears. If you flip it up make sure your lever doesnt touch your band adjustment screw.

Mine is in the "up" position...but I have a "REAR" exit cable shifter.
