shipping a hood ????
anybody use a freight companie for this ???
I have a FIBERGLASS car Hood for a 1969 Dodge dart, It's boxed and ready to ship The whole package weights 30 lbs. and is 5'x5' x 9"h It's coming from a commercial zip code 49048 to a Home at long beach,ny 11561 whats the shipping price for this ? Thanks, Tim erco |
I shipped a fiberglass 4 inch cowl hood for a 66 Chevy II to Canada via the UPS store. I ended up letting them box it so it wouldn't be an oversize charge and could go on the regular truck. It was $103 to Canada, so if your box isn't too big it should be a lot less inside the US.

they told me $295 !!!

Must be oversized then, that will make it truck freight...
