IHRA and NHRA

Hey Guys,
My new ride is 8.50 certified by IHRA, I will be running mostly NHRA tracks. Does anyone know if there are different requirement between the two sanctions?

Thanks
Chris

Yeah, NHRA doesn't recognize IHRA certs.

Yeah, NHRA doesn't recognize IHRA certs.

But if the car certs to 8.50 with IHRA, It should pass an 8.50 cert with NHRA am I correct. I know that I will have to get it looked at with NHRA, just making sure that it will pass before I take it up there.

I don't know, as I've never had an IHRA rule book.

You would be well advised to buy an NHRA rule book and check the specs on a 8.50 and slower cage cert.
