Would it make me look desperate?
Need your guys opinion. I have a carb for sale on here and someone has it in thier favorites. If I respond to them to see if they have any questions does it make me look desperate?

I've had people do that to me and I never thought that. I figured they were just like me and wanted to sell their stuff.

Not at all. That's why it there. I didn't even know the seller could tell that until a guy sent me a mssg. about his add.

Keep it short and sweet, and respectable and only ONE time.

Are you ?? Just kidding. I would not think that. Just do it. |
i think it shows that your easy to get a hold of, in case the deal
goes bad, sometimes its that call that makes the sell, JMO  yea, and just once |
Example
This is what I have done in the past.........
Hi, I see that you have selected my ad as a favorite. If there are any questions about my carb that the ad does not answer for you, I would be happy to provide you with any information you my need. Thank you for your interest in my carb Mike |
See I always get it wrong. I was thinking about something more like.
Hi, I have a single, white female carburetor named Holley. She likes big motors and going down the strip fast. Shes been a good friend, but I just don't have the time to spend with her anymore. lol Kidding, I'm bored this morning. I wouldn't think anything of it if you contacted me. Like they said shows that you are easy to get in touch with and willing to help someone. |
I think now a days you have to do everything you can to get a sale. I don't think there is anything wrong with good communication with buyers.
Just my opinion though. |
Thanks guys for your input. I messaged him no response. :(
