Tach Questions
 

Hey guys I have two questions that perhaps someone can help on:

1) I have a vintage SW 970B Pedestal tach in my 66 Nova. Havent hooked it up yet but was wondering if anyone knows whether it uses a sender and what/how the leads connect, ie color coding? I'd pay to find a copy of a set of instructions for one of these.

2) also I have an SW Tach with a 119911 sender that I am putting in the Camaro- Is was in my Impala with a points set-up, now I am running off an HEI. Do I use the tach lead on the HEI for the primary, run a ground and then tap my light array? I should now this but wanted to check- I dont think an HEI makes a difference, but the sender is a rare bird and I dont want to fry it.
