Torco Is Slow and high in aromatics

If you were using VP C-14 that has a motor octane of 114 and has a SG of .696.
The torco junk you just bought has a motor rating of 110 and a SG of .727.
These are not comparable fuels in any way really. You needed Mach 118 to come closer to the octane you had been running. Torco rates there fuel like passenger car fuel is rated, motor rating, plus research, divided by two to show the highest octane rating they can and are loaded with aromatic hydrocarbons. Race fuels use motor rating only to advertise there fuel octane ratings typically. If you needed the octane of the C-14 then you are screwed with the fuel you have now. The aromatics in the torco will blacken your plugs like you have never seen before. Good luck with the Torco, It will run rich and slow compared to C-14 that has NO AROMATICS. This is not an opinion, Look at the spec sheet's of both and you will see what I mean.

X2, VP alcohol, $195.00 a drum local, cheap alcohol, $120.00 a drum 90 miles away, the only difference i know is the VP drums are lined, so if i gotta keep it over winter, i pump it into my spare VP drums.

Zip.
