fiberglass for a 67 cougar
 
im wanting a fiberglass front end, hood, doors and trunk lid for my cougar, does anyone have some or know where i can get them? thanks

thanks, but i think i might try and make my own hood i have a buddy that has built hes own hood, do you no what weight of fiberglass to use and how many layers, his was super thick and im trying to shave some weight

Thin is usually floppy. I have made my own with one layer of cloth and one layer of mat, over thin jel coat, then reinforcing sides with light aluminum angle, shaped to fit, and glassed right in. The trick is to squeegee the resin around on your layers to keep it thin. Use a good epoxy resin also. This is not necessarily cheaper than buying by the time you make a good mold.
