I just bought a S-10 that is all stock...4cyl and automatic with 107k miles...The owner was going down the road and slowed down and then on shift change noticed the tranny slipping, so he made it home and parked it...I got it and first thing I did was add a can of Lucas Tranny Treatment...When the truck is cold you pull it into gear and you hear a noise from the tranny but it quickly stops the noise and goes into gear and will pull itself but upon warm up it stops pulling...I thought I should replace the filter and check the pan for metal and then flush the whole system if no metal..Now your opinions please

That might work, but it never does for me. I look at it like this for me, do I really want to walk when it quits somewhere? :lol:
