Deck Height question?
 

On a big-block Chevy,do you measure deck height from the centerline of the crank to the manifold mounting flange? Thanks in advance for any help.

from the crank centerline to the head surface, measure both sides so you will know how to calculate how much to take off to get them even. Kris
