ohio crankshaft

I know in the past people have had problems with ohio crankshaft, but has anyone dealt with them lately? I need to know if they are doing any better because it looks like they have pretty good pricing. Thanks for any input you can offer.

I know a lot of engines shops who have started using them more and more latley, just make sure you machine shop checks everything over really good and you'll be fine IMO

X 1000

My stuff was bought in March of 2007 and while the crank measured FINE, the rotating assembly was out of balance and the main bores in the block were too tight. Check everything.

Yeah Tod, I had the same problem measured good just out of balance. Huh maybe you got my crank and I got yours. LOL. Their stuff is OK if you have an engine builder close that does good work just have him balance it for you. Mine is still together after a season and a half and running fine. Hope this helps.
