454 Block, .060 over, 11-1 pistons, 4.250 eagle crank, Jegs J series heads (119cc chamber 310 intake with 2.25 1.88 valves) 1050 holley. It was in super chevy a few years ago and I am looking to build it. What are the gotchas and your opinions? Will a std 454 block be capable of .060 over??

Thats a good combo, and, you will be happy with it. Just about any 454 will take a .060 over bore. Some will go .125 over, if they sonic check well. Those heads are Candield 310's, and are excellent heads.
