What I have here is a very nice clean 2001 Ford f-150 two wheel drive. The truck is an XL. I bought it from the original owner, an elderly man in his eighties. He ordered the truck, basically he wanted a plain work truck with a V-8 and an automatic. The truck has 52,000 miles on the 4.6 litre V-8. It is basically a plain truck, rubber floormat no power options, no air or cruise. But it is one clean truck. There is one ding in the passengers side rear door, you should be able to see this in the pictures. It has a couple scratches here and there, nothing major, it is nine years old. There is no rust anywhere on the truck. When i bought the truck last October it only had 36,000 miles on it. All I have done to it is put catback dual exhaust on it. I do have the stock exhaust if you would like. Also, the tires that are on it right now are on the stock steel wheels, they are an all season radial and they are almost new. He had went and bought another steel wheel like the spare and there are winter snow tires mounted on those. This last summer at a car show I bought a set of 17 inch wheels and the wide performance tires that come on the lightnings. So for my asking price, you will get both complete sets of wheels and tires plus the two snow tires.
This truck is real nice, I simply dont need it any more. I bought it last year because i was living in town and didnt want to start my diesel up just to run the kids to school and shut it off right away. I ended up liking the truck, alot, so i had pretty much parked my dodge for most of the year. Now I have my new place and it doesnt make sense for me to keep, register and insure both of them. This truck needs nothing. it is mechanically perfect. I have just put in a new battery. The body is great. It will make someone a great vehicle. I have taken this on a couple trips, if you drive sensibly, the truck will pull 20 miles per gallon on the highway. running around town, 17 or 18. The catback exhaust sounds real nice, not too loud, just a nice tone. The truck has a very nice matching fiberglass topper.
Kelley blue book on this truck in good condition with the miles and the performance wheel and tire package and the topper is $7649.00 for the private party price. For all ten wheels and tires i am asking $7500.00.
I am open for some trades on this, I know right now there are a ton of old cars and harleys out there where maybe someone could use a dependable vehicle instead. So, you can run it past me. I dont want any projects...
So if you need yourself a nice truck, this would definitely serve you well. And it needs nothing.
