These custom shrouds are tailor made from aluminum sheet metal to fit your existing radiator perfectly. Testing has shown a decrease in engine temperature of 30-50 degrees at idle. Most of the shrouds that I build use an electric fan. The single fan is a Flex-a-lite 15 inch curved blade Extreme Black Magic unit with a Flex-a-lite rating of 3300 CFMs. The dual fan shroud also uses a Flex-a-lite fan kit consisting of two 14 inch straight blade fans with a rating of 4600 CFMs. More information as well as an order form, (work sheet) can be found at www.mahaffeymotorsports.com that will aid in the developement of a new shroud/fan combo for you. However, if a dual fan set-up is desired, I will need the radiator during the construction for fit and function. I do have a few radiators in stock, built by Northern Radiator and are "Universal fit type", meaning you must fabricate your own radiator mounts. The radiators I have are all 19.5 inches tall and 25, 27, or 31 inches wide. The cost for single fan and shroud combo is $395. The cost for the dual fan and shroud combo is $575. You can add one of these radiators to either fan and shroud combo, making it a radiator/shroud/fan package for an additional $200. Also polishing is availible on the single fan unit for an additional $45. These completed units can usually be built and shipped with in a few days of your order. This style of fan and shroud requires 4 inches of room from the radiator core to the nearest obstruction (nornally the water pump). When using the dual fans, I can spread the fans apart slightly to allow additional water pump clearence. If you have any other questions, just give me a call.
