I have for sale a nice and rare Green 1991 Mitsubishi Eclipse GSX, for those that do not know of these cars its a factory Turbo AWD Sports coupe, and have a very large following. Theres lots to like about this car including leather interior, A/C, power everything, and many quality performance modifications. However with the low price of $2000 you know there is a catch, while the car was driving it skipped a tooth on the timing belt causing the head to bend a few valves. The Timing belt was replaced and a compression test and leak down test was preformed to confirm, cylinders 1 and 4 have valve damage, however the car did run and drive after the damage, it just runs poorly, so the entire motor is not damaged. For someone who knows what they are doing this is a weekends worth of work, as the car has a Reusable 4 layer Mitsubishi metal head gasket and ARP head studs so you would be looking at is removal of the head, repair the valves and reinstall. The head work with new valves, and seals should be around $200 or you could get a good used head on ebay for even less. This is a great car for someone whos willing to put in the work, you will have a nice car at a low price, also delivery is availabe for a small fee within 100 miles of zip code 21237. Here you come to a decision point either you will be willing to do the work to get the car running right and will read on to see the many modifications and highlights, or you decide you dont need a project, please be realistic this is no give away, please dont waste my time or yours.

Now that we lost some of our audience, lets move with the serious people to the good parts, as stated its a 1991 Mitsubishi Eclipse GSX manual transmission car, with the very desirable 6 Bolt motor, the car has approx 122k on it, however the motor was replaced with a JDM motor that has approx 40K on it, was installed with 30K on it and it still looks spotless in the head, always ran with Mobil 1 Synthetic. The car has a good deal of modifications to it, the car is defiantly worth more in parts then the asking price but, I am not interested in parting a car out thats such an easy fix. Some of the mods include Big 16 Turbo, Hks Intake, 3 inch Turbo back Exhaust System with external wastegate set-up, and 3 inch Cat for those in emissions areas-Down Pipe is HRC, and the Catback is HKS. Upgraded 3000GT brake Calipers, and cross drilled rotors, Eibach Springs, new struts, Center Force dual friction clutch with only 500 miles on it, as mention the car does have a Mitsubishi Metal 4 Layer Head Gasket, and ARP head studs already installed. Upgraded Speakers- Boston Acoustics, and Eclipse 6X9s-Radio not included, as well as a alarm system, Dual gauge pod, also a aftermarket Grant steering wheel. The rims are Lexani Solar Rims with like new tires, they dont look bad for chrome rims. Theres more I am missing, I am sure of that, all the electrical works, even still has A/C whens the last time you saw a 1G DSM with working A/C, and Leather interior. Its a good car defiantly worth saving but it is 17 years old, and has some little things to mention. Its got the usual DSM paint fade, it has old tint on the windows thats purpling and pealing, the rims show some corrosion -probably could be polished out, the front seats look like 17 year old leather seats, theres a tear in the drivers, but perfectly usable or could be recovered. Most parts that have been added or replaced have 10K or less miles on them, including the water pump, and T-belt parts.

So this comes down to do you want to fix this great car and have a nice car or not, my price of $2000 is firm and fair considering the mods on the car.
