The good:
In the last 30K miles: rebuilt engine, transmission, transfer case, brakes (front and rear), 4WD solenoids, new U-joints, no rust, interior is in GREAT shape! It drives down the road like a much newer truck!

The bad:
Clear coat is peeling off of the hood (roof is fine), small dent behind the rear door on the passenger side- just below the LT badge, driver side running board cover is cracked under the rear door, will need new tires soon and could use a set of tie rods in the next couple months

FYI:
I just had the rear end checked out because the posi clutches were “clunking” sometimes. I had the rear cover removed- no sign of excess wear or any metal in the oil or pumpkin floor. The mechanic said that this model limited slip rear end had this type of problem, he suggested using 2 cans of the GM moly additive with new synthetic oil, which I did. It seems to do it a lot less now (and I have yet to take it on a road trip to get it warmed up), but if it becomes a problem the whole carrier has to be replaced, which is a $500 part!
