Hello- I decided to sell my 1985 302-4V Convertible.I have too many toys and I am offering this one at a real good price. I bought the Mustang from a Ford lover in the Youngstown area.He sold it to me as a "Rolling Chassis" after he decided to keep his 351 Cleveland and automatic trans. I purchased a 302 and C4 combo and for good measure put a new oil pump,Rod bearings,Main bearings,Water pump, and needed gaskets plus a new battery and alternator.
I also put a fresh 600 Holley with an electric choke and a aluminum intake and a fresh ignition system. I also put a new radiator in for reliability. The previous owner removed the heater box assembly to lighten it up for Street/Strip Drag racing but as you know there are tons of these Mustangs for parts so acquiring a Heater box assembly should be rather easy.I only drive it on warm sunny days. It also has a brand new Flaming River Manual rack & pinion steering and drives excellent!
The wheels and tires are nice and smooth on the highway plus its been converted to 5 lug.It has an 8.8 rear end with a 3.08 ratio for cruising. I was told when I purchased it that it was stored inside for the past 16 years and the new convertible top was only 3 years old but has not seen out side use-he always had it down so you could check out the roll bar.It has the 90's style seats in black
and the only worn area is on the drivers seat as you'll see in the pics.

I will take trades on the Mustang- but no bikes,boats,ect. would prefer Ford products.
