Questions & Answers about this ad

Question:

Would this work well on a stock 351W? I was either gonna go with this carb or a Edelbrock 600 CFM. whats your opinion

Answer:

Hello, After alot of dyno time we have found that the 670 works best on 383 C.I. & bigger, which I have several at this time. It seems that our 600 CFM Holley has better throttle response on 350 C.I. engines than the 670 does.It will be about a week before we get more 600's run on the Dyno. Check out my Ad #1621582 it is a 600 for $199.00 Also if you haven't check out my 200 MPH CRash atwww.WaltersEngines.com Thank You Terry 540-774-8605 doesn't On [2009-09-29 16:54:55] FatalDeath wrote: > Would this work well on a stock 351W? Questions & Answers about this ad

Question:

I'm going to ask some stupid questions, but I don't know much about Holley carbs. Is this carb designed only for Ford? I have a 69 Firebird with a 400 Pontiac engine and a 350 turbo tranny. I'm running a 600 Edlebrock now and when I smash the accelerator it starves for gas and falls on its face. Everyone tells me I need a Holley 650 double pumper. Will your Avenger Carb do the trick for me? Thanks.

Answer:

Hello, This carb.will work on any Chry,Ford GM. What it has is the Transmission kick down linkage for a ford automatic. We have found it works great on 383 C.I. to 454.You DON'T want to run a DOUBLE PUMPER on an automatic or it really will fall on it's face .This carb. will work great on your car. 540-520-2650 Thank You Terry. We do have several carb's in stock On [2009-10-03 11:43:48] Wolfgangs2 wrote: > I'm going to ask some stupid questions, but I don't know much about Holley carbs. Is this carb designed only for Ford?
