Firethorn Red (soon to be Brandywine by House of Kolor)
400 4 bbl
TH 400, BOP 10 Bolt rear, unknown gears
this is my first car that I got as a hand-me-down from my brother in 1989; he bought it off of a used car lot in 1983. I parked it in my senior year in high school in 1991 after blowing the transmission and pretty much left it on our family farm in SC until my cousin called in 2006 and told me to come get it or it was going to the crusher! A remanned Turbo 400 later and it was back on the road and now it has almost 200K on the car and the engine has never been rebuilt. I just finished doing all the bodywork (which consisted of patching the quarter panels and hood and a lot of smoothing and straightening-thats a big car!, otherwise it is pretty solid) Now its at the painted waiting for a coat of beautiful House of Kolor Brandywine and I will put some sharp Billet wheels on it. For now, the 400 still runs fine but I have a 455 core in the garage for a future build.
