The Year in review

We got a late start this year June 30. The car was new to us and most of the car was replaced or converted to meet are needs. To start with the chassie was up dated to 25.2 the wheels, tires, gauges,fuel cell,fuel pump, motor, transmission, clutch, front struts, rear shocks, pedals, steering colum, and computer were replaced or add. The rear wing, wheelie bars and chute were also added along with new paint. The car at race weight w/driver 2487#. The Car weighs 2169# it has a 326 inch Buick head sbc, Ace 7" clutch, Liberty clutchless 5 speed, 5.83 gear. Performance stats for the year. 60' 1.201 330' 3.58 660' 5.61 @124.10 @Eddyville Racway. There were no completed 1/4 Passes after we fixed the motor for the 3rd time, but early in November (at Cordova very slick due to temp 48 deg.) we did go 8.96 @ 145.021 lifting at 1100 ft.

Overview of the year.

One broken head (an intake seat fell out)
3 broken rocker arm adjuster cups
1 broken 6.40 gear
10,300 rpm shift points hard on valve train part. (no kidding)
1 Set valve springs @ 35 passes
1 set rear tires 35 passes
Racepak is you best friend.
Small cubic inch motors make you look like you have no clue what your doing.
Our family and friends had alot of fun.
15 year out dated parts need to be replaced.
