The funny thing about shocks is that they are simple and complex at the same time. A shock is just oil passing between two chambers with the hole size controlling the rate. That's the simple version of course but the biggest thing to do with shocks is to mount them solidly so they can do their jobs effectively. It doesn't do you any good to buy high dollar shocks and then put them in a position where deflection can occur. In high horsepower cars any deflection in the suspension can cause tire shake and the damage that comes with it. This kit has four inches movement allowing for tire size changes to meet class regulations.
