427 side oiler that I bought for a project that I have decided not to do. Engine has been sonic checked, professionally bored, honed, balanced and short block assembled (including cam degreeing) by a renown shop (Santos and Sons) in San Leandro, CA. Bored to 4.270 (0.037 over). Diamond forged flat top pistons. New Clevelite rod, main and cam bearings, Eagle rods, cast crank (not forged) from 1964 427 at 0.010 under on both mains and rod journals, Edelbrock 6005 alum heads, 76cc chambers, fully assembled with 2.20 intakes and 1.71 exhausts, beautifully ported and port matched to intake. Piston and head combo results in 10.5 compression ratio. Comp cam HD rocker arm assembly, new K-Motion valve springs and titanium retainers, head studs, Edelbrock RPM performer intake with dialed in Demom 800 Cfm carb, MSD distributor with 6A box with complete set of wires. Cam is a Comp Cam solid roller 248/248 duration at 0.050 with 0.645/0.645 lift, 110 lobe separation with a Milodon gear drive system. Solid roller lifters that have been checked and rebuilt as necessary by Comp Cams. Melling H57 High volume oil pump with new ARP drive shaft.
Block and heads are assembled individually but engine is not put together. All parts are there except gaskets. Have water pump, cobra aluminum valve covers but no bell housing. Have extra MSD distributor and set of like new BRC 0.025 over (4.255) forged pistons that go with purchase.
If seriously interested I can provide photos and all pertinent information as to when and how I acquired engine and what was done to it before and after my purchase.
I will assemble the engine if wanted for the price of the gaskets needed.
