For Sale: 1973 Plymouth Road Runner
Original 340 car, all original body / interior, uncut
Was a North Carolina car and converted to NHRA/IHRA Stocker in 1998
Last run in competition in IHRA Top Stock in 2005, untuned went easy 10.50s@ 125mph, 3,900 lbs
Prior to Top Stock, very successfully campaigned in IHRA G/CM, won division race and finished in top 5 in points a couple years.
Car is very consistent and low maintenance. Has roughly twenty passes since engine rebuild with the last ones in 2010, just to get it out, where it ran three back to back 10.64s.
Current Engine 500 CID, built to IHRA spec
Indy SR CNC 285 heads
Roller cam, lift limited to .530/.550
Crank, rods and pistons all the best legal stuff
Transmission - A&A All Aluminium TF 727
Rearend - 8 3/4 Aluminum 3rd Member, Cal Tracs, mono leaf springs and adjustable shocks.
Interior - restored, full stock interior with original seats, full cage and net
Paint and Body - zero rust ever, original 'Petty Blue' with repro stripe package
Also have a 440 built to IHRA Crate specs (roughly a 440 six pack spec) that puts the car in G/CM, less than twenty passes on it.
Also have a Hughes assembled short block for the 440 crate combo, all new and ready.
