I got this Nova mostly built about 5 years ago, me and my uncle who is a mechanic have cleaned it up and made a lot of improvements to it. It is mostly restored, short of the trunk, which we haven't touched. It is street leagal and registered. It has brand new Goodyear tires in the front and brand new DOT approved Hoosier Street ET tires on the back. Centerline aluminum rims, 15x4 on the front and 15x14 on the rear. All the lights are in working order. The turn signals and side markers work perfectly. It has a line lock on the front brakes for burn outs. The rear end is shortened, tubbed and can handle up to 16" wide tires. Ford nine inch with 456 gears and a spool. It has an extended full length frame, and traction bars installed. The carburetor is a Holley 750cfm 4150 supercharger carb. There is an 8 point saftey roll cage and a 5 point safety harness on both passenger and driver side. The ignition is all MSD with an AL6 MSD ignition and a two step rev limiter (controlled launch). MSD billet distributer. The motor is a Chevrolet 355CI with a low profile 142 B&M blower. The motor is 400-500 HP (no dyno). COMP Cam Ultra Gold aluminum full roller rockers. The transmission is a TH350 stage II with a B&M slap shifter and a 3500 stall converter. It has exterior gauges with switches for ignition, fuel pump, and fan. It has tuned Hooker Headers with Flowmaster single chamber 2&1/2" exhaust. The fuel cell and battery are in the trunk. It has a new paint job and a new carpet kit. The interior is 90% restored. It has fiberglass fenders, hood, and bumpers.
It runs mid 12s in the 1/4 mile, fastest time ever for me was 12.27. It's not perfect but it looks good, goes real fast and is a lot of fun to drive especially around town. It doesn't matter if you're at the racetrack, a car show, or getting groceries this car turns a lot of heads and gets comments everywhere I go! This is a turn key street/strip car with $35,000 worth of work done to it! I really want to keep it but i just don't have anywhere to keep it right now, nor the time to maintain and race it.
