For sale is a 1996 Ford Ranger with a Ford 302.
The engine is a roller motor from a 1986 mustang and has a Holley 670 street avenger carb on it.
It is bored .030 over, Comp cams 35-514-8, Gt40 ported heads, procomp intake manifold, msd billet distributor, Hedman shorty swap headers and a dual straight exhaust without a muffler that exits in front of the rear wheels , remote mount oil filter housing and stock radiator with front mounted electric fan
Fuel supply is a RCI 16 gallon fuel tank, -6 pushloc supply lines, jegs electronic fuel pump, -4 pushloc return lines
The transmission is a stock 4r70w from a mustang with a 3.8l engine. Has a U.S. Shift trans controller, TCI shifter and bed mount oil cooler. it also has a driveshaft loop to keep the tech department happy when running slicks.
Front suspension is stock, with 3 setting competition engineering shocks
Rear suspension is a Ford 9 inch, 4.10 gears, spool, custom built 4 link with trac bar, jegs double adjustable coilover shocks with 2 different sets of springs and Gm metric caliper disc brakes and a jegs proportioning valve.
The frame is Boxed from behind the rear axle to the firewall, and is coated in Por15 and black frame paint.
The body is solid but does have some rust on it that needs to be repaired and then it needs a paint job. the interior is mostly complete except for the carpet flooring and 1 rear jump seat.
I have a set of 28x1050.15 slicks on 10 inch aluminum wheel and a pair of almost new Goodyear tires to match the front tires. The tires on it are 245/70R16 General Grabber2s that I put on to see how it does in a dirt track drag race. The wheels are from a 2002 Ranger. All the tires go with it!
