The bus is very unique and while we used it to go around the country many people were drawn to it because of the name we gave it, “Zombie Killer”. Our son thought the name went with the color and it would be a good theme.
In March we had the bus inspected and service at Freightliner in Oklahoma City, OK. Transmission fluid was changed, oil and all filters changed thru out motor. Brakes were all check and had plenty of pad on them. The end of April we had the bus in Pittsburgh, PA.. and the starter went out, we had it replaced at Peterbuilt.
The owner before us was a flight mechanic and he was very picky on everything. Every wire, fuse, and part is labeled with a number and then written down in the original books on the coach.
The bus is excellent condition, we love everything about it – infact we like it better than our 2011 when traveling down the road. It feels like you have more room because there is no slides in the way when traveling. But we are wanting to sell our 2011 Astoria and this to get a tag axle, that is the only reason we are selling it. We are willing to meet ½ ways with buyer, if the price is right. If you need additional information or pictures. Just email me.
