XS Power introduces the L1600A Lithium Powerpack, a lightweight racing battery for drag racing applications. This product joins the award winning family of Lithium Powerpacks already in use by top racers in the NHRA,IHRA and ADRL.


The L1600A Lithium Powerpack provides an excellent value in a lightweight racing battery solution for drag race and dirt track applications where more capacity is required. It is fully alternator compatible. This 16V Lithium-Ion battery has 53 minutes of reserve, a total capacity of 23Ah, and yet weighs only 12 lbs. It features very low internal resistance making for faster engine starting when compared to most 16V AGM batteries. It can deliver 1,200A max and 1,000A for five seconds at 77 degrees F (PHCA). The battery is 10.28" L x 6.75" W x 7.24" H. This battery features fast cell balancing for long life, maximum capacity, and safety. A unique feature of this battery is the complete MOSFET protection system including automatic low voltage, high voltage, over current, and short circuit protection. Since battery life is so critically affected by charging, XS Power also has available compatible chargers for optimum performance.
