65 Plymouth Fury Sport, it runs and drives tight!, It has the 383 330 H.P. 4 BBL, factory 4 speed, and 3.55 posi rear! It has a new clutch, a power brake setup from a 66 Newport, the engine has NO blowby, or noises, no rear end or tranny noise, also front end feels tight, still has what appears to be the original Carter 4 BBL carb on it. needs a headliner and carpet, seats could probably get by with a re dye. door panels are all intact, the carpet on the bottom of them are bad, sail panel upholstery panels are still in place and in good shape, Center console is all there, with the FACTORY TACH ! Needs a latch on the console lid though. worse rust is in the trunk, but not big holes, all small holes, the rear wheel wells are rust free, as is the area under the package shelf, just the rear trunk floor, easy fix, 1 small rust areas in the floorboards, also easy fix.
The quarters have some Bondo in them, but not a lot, the rockers are good, except for about 8" on the left rear rocker, from the front of the fender opening forward, also not terrible, overall, the body is really pretty solid! The original steering wheel with the horn button and trim ring is in the car, as is the few trim pieces that are off, the car has some aftermarket gauges under the dash, and warmed up, it runs up to 70 PSI oil pressure! The way the engine runs and sounds, I feel it has to have been rebuilt. I drove it about 4 miles on a test drive, and the engine feels like a new engine, car drives unbelievably tight too! needs a stronger spring on the carb, and the brake pedal needs a return spring, it sticks a little, and I had to pull it back up with my toe. The fender skirts are on the rear floorboard in the car, it still has an 87 track under dash with AM/FM receiver mounted under the dash! Lol, As I understand it, there were only a little over 1100 4 speed Sport Fury's built, and only 700 were 383's.
