All Aluminum Big Chief 638"
The entire drivetrain was new/rebuilt less than 35 runs ago. An all aluminum 638" Reher Morrison with 14* Big Chief Heads and Dart aluminum block was freshened locally. New aluminum GRP rods. New titanium valves. Lightweight pistons. Jesel belt. T & D Shaft rockers. Moroso 4 stage dry sump system with polished tank and Moroso vacuum pump. New Edelbrock Intake the was sent to Wilson for a full $2000 competition port job. New Nickerson fully ported Dominator carb. The motor dyno'd over 1225 HP on one carb and over 1330 HP with 2 carbs.
The Dedenbear case Transmission was freshened 35 runs ago with a new Transmission Specialties valve body. 10 disc clutch pack. 180 hardened gear set. Nasa Input shaft. Trans Specialties Super 8 spragless steel stator convertor.
The complete 9"rear was new 35 runs ago with new Gears and bearings. Moser Engineering lightweight 40 spline gun drilled axels and spool. Wilwood 4 wheel disc brakes.
Factory front frame rails that have been modified to fit the dry sump oil pan. Rack and pinion steering. TRZ upper and lower A-arms.
Factory rear frame rails have been scalloped and plated. Mini tubs. Rear Interior chrome moly Frame rails from the back of the car tied into the chassis and cage. Chassis Engineering Outlaw chrome moly triple adjustable ladder bars new last year. The rear, suspension, interior frame rails installed by Montana Brothers Pro Chassis last year. MBRC just recently installed a Chassis Engineering Pro Anti Roll bar. The cage was certified this April for 7.50 at 3300 lbs.
New Afco double adjustable shocks and springs front and rear.
Double bead lock Bogart rear wheels with a MT 29.5 x 10.5 slick. Weld 5 star front wheels. I have a spare set of Weld rear wheels that will go with the car.
New MSD Grid system ignition. Rebuilt Product Engineering 500 fuel pump with a 4 port Magnafuel regulator.
Carbon Fiber dash insert with new Autometer gauges. A Carbon fiber panel was installed where the heater controls and radio were and a Painless Switch panel was wired in. A removable Carbon fiber access panel was installed above the 3 way adjustable ladder bars for ease of adjustment and inspection.
I am currently running the 8.50 Index class where she runs under the index and hits a .400 pro tree easily. I use a custom made under the carb restrictor plate to slow the car down to 8.50. This car is an all motor naturally aspirated beast and easily runs the index no matter what the weather. With the 6' Cowl hood and the factory wing, she looks like a 10 second street car. It would make an awesome grudge car. This car will run just about class rules in the country because of the rear frame rails are still there and the ladder bar suspension.
The only reason I'm selling my machine is that my Top Dragster is almost done and I don't have the time or money for 2 beasts.
