1928 REO Speed Wagon Tonner: This truck has been sitting in the back of the auto parts store in Texas for over 20 years.
The truck is virtually newly rebuilt in every aspect front to back and top to bottom. No rust or corrosion anywhere and all the wood is perfect. The truck has has all new rubber goods, fuel lines, hoses, belts etc. and rebuilt brake and master cylinder. It has extremely large brake pads, drums and even the brake shoes are like new, as shown in the photos.
The truck was on stands with air out of the new tires over 25 years ago to keep them in good condition and gas tank & fuel lines drained. I put air in the tires, fuel in the gas tank, rebuilt the fuel pump and installed new spark plugs…. Then BINGO… it started. The engine runs very quiet and holds 40 to 50lbs oil pressure.
I do have the original owners manual for this truck
