Getting out of the track fun for now. But i will be back.
I have a super low entry D&D trailer for sale. This is an 18ft trailer with a beavertail. It weighs about 1500lbs. It has long slide out ramps. It is so low and so easy to load, it includes smaller drag along wheels on the absolute rear of the trailer. These allow the trailer to roll on them instead of drag steel on the street. It has electric brakes and I would reccommend running a brake controller with this setup.
This trailer has had a full gamut of cars on it. e36/e46 m3s on it with very low and long front splitters and no one scrapes. Pcar gt4s fit with no issue... 911s you name it. No need for hauling extra race ramps.
This particular trailer has some great upgrades that make it stand out from those other beer can specials.
It has front wheel chocks, which allow you a reference point when loading.
It has a tire rack, so you can bring your wets or a second set of slicks or both! with you. Tire rack is lockable and I will include the lock I used.
I welded a front tray to the front of the trailer. This holds an aluminum 3 rack VP racing fuels gas can setup (see picture). I will include two cans in the sale price.
There is a loop welded to the receiver and it has a removable winch. The winch is bolted to a custom welded plate. Its removable and doubles as a way to carry it. Thankfully, i have not had to use it on my M3. It has pulled other cars up.
Also included is the battery box. Add your favorite battery and its ready to go. This is secured on the aforementioned tray.
Also included is a set of Macs tie downs, so you can secure your load to the trailer. It comes with hooks for chassis mount points. These are the real deal ones, not the made in china harbor freight specials that you see some cars use to hold their busted ass m3 bumper to the back of their car. And those china straps fail in a few weeks. Macs are industry leaders.
New 7 way plug, zinc hardened schedule safety chains and break away system. I replaced the rear tail lights with maint free LED units that are far brighter and add some night visibility.
Also included are new bearings. I havent had to put them in yet, so they will be included.
It has a new spare tire on it, the old one was original and never needed. Goodyear marathons all around.
This has sat since Watkins Glen with RTR in July. Hence the grass clippings. It tows real well and straight. I have had zero issues with it.
This trailer is ready to make money if you want to tow other car. There is an untapped market of crashed mustangs that you can help get home. Just head to your local cars and coffee meet and wait on the main road where everyone tries to melt tires. The winch on the trailer will help get the 'stang on the bed real quick before the police show up.
Any questions, just ask.
