I purchased this 1995 M3 partially built and finished it with an S54 from a 29k mile Z4M about a year and a half ago. In my first season of racing in 2015 I was second at East Coast Nationals in GTS2 with it as well as second regionally. Needless to say, it's a competitive car and capable of further time improvement. GTS2 (211whp) best lap time was 2:10.0 (AIM virtual 2:07.8)at VIR. I only did 1 fun race in GTS3 trim (290-300whp) with laps in the 2:06 range with older tires.
Before the motor was installed the Dr. Vanos upgrade was done along with a valve adjustment and Epic rod bearings. Recently installed a new water pump and alternator. Most of the main upgrades are listed below, but of course the list of remaining details is extensive. It would be well over $40k to duplicate this car.
-Ground Control single adjustable suspension with 4-5 race weekends on the inserts
-Epic Tuned Alpha N Standalone currently flashed to GTS3 trim. The current exhaust is very restrictive and really meant for GTS2 so if you are seeking a stronger power band I have a Bimmerworld 3.5" exhaust for an additional $700.
-All updated safety equipment including 3 zone fire suppression, safety nets, and full 1.75x.095 cage
-Bimmerworld CSL Intake
-Stoptech ST-40 BBK
-Apex ARC8 17x9 wheels
-Jim Blanton built 3.64 diff
-Turner front and rear swaybars
-PFC 11 front and DTC70 rear pads
-AJ Motorsports dive planes
-EVO II Splitter
-Brooks Motorsports Wing
-Sparco ADV seat
