2004 Porsche 911 996 GT3 Cup Race Car
This car is in very good shape. It has just gone for a dyno run at Epic Motorsports. The dyno sheet atached shows the results of the Dynojet Dyno which is a chassis dyno, or rear wheel dyno. The car is all original to the Porsche Cup cars with the exception of a few items. The factory muffler has been replaced with a straight through exhaust so it sounds great. The front and rear bumpers are non-factory replacements. The front fenders are fiberglass instead of steel.
The car has a total of 16,409 Km on it and the ECU reads that the total hours for the chassis is 266. This is very low for a race car from 2004. The motor has been rebuilt since new by the Porsche dealership in Brazil, but the actual hours or miles since the rebuild are unknown. The dyno sheets, however, tell a story of an engine that is very strong. These are the kind of numbers that you would expect from a fresh Porsche Motorsports rebuild. Oil samples were also taken from this car and they showed nothing unusual.
These cars are very limited production. As factory built race cars they come with great items like air jacks, full cage, and a fire system.
These cars make great racers for the club guy looking to do NASA GTS, PCA GTC3, or SCCA GT. They are very versatile and can run with many groups. They also make fantastic DE or Track Day cars since they are well prepared without the need to continuously be updated with go-fast parts.
