The time has finally come for me to sell. This Jeep has been with me for 14 years and has evolved over those years into one of the baddest leaf sprung 6 cylinders around. Countless trophies have been won by either the Jeep or the motor and driveline combination. Currently 90% of what you need to complete this build is included in this deal.
Here's the list.....
*Vehicle - 1986 Jeep CJ7 with title. The Jeep's body has a Power Pro fiberglass hood up front and the rear tub has been removed. The windshield is acrylic with 3 holes drilled for vision. 6 point roll cage with a D-ring on the rear cross member for extraction. Rear of vehicle is designed for two batteries in parallel, as this vehicle didn't use an alternator and had an electric power steering pump. Also a 3 gallon fuel tank was utilized.
*Engine - AMC 258 Bored and stroked, 13.5 Compression, Ross Racing pistons, Cam Techniques .580 lift, 4.0 Head 0331 Casting Ported and Polished, 1.98 Intake/1.58 Exhaust Valves, Crane Roller Rockers, Billet Main Caps, ARP bolts through out, Eagle H Beam Rods, CV Products Push Rods, Cloyes Double Roller Timing Chain, Holly 750 Double Pumper (Mech Sec), WOT and Low Fuel Pressure Switch for N2O, 10lb Bottle (with all the lines and solenoids), Offy Intake with Racing in the Dirt N2O Injection System, Holly Blue Fuel Pumps, MSD Distributor and Ignition, and I'm sure a few other items that I forgot.......
*Transmission/T-Case/Driveline - 904 Built by Sloan Racing, Kevlar Clutches, Reverse Manual Valve Body, TCI Deep Tranny Pan with Fins, TCI Scatter Shield, ATI Converter, Dana 300 with JB Conversion Input and Output Shafts and Clocking Ring, 1350 Spicer Joints on Standard Parts (Fabricator) Rear Driveshaft, Trussed Model 20 Rear with Moser Axles and Detroit Locker and Richmond Gears, 2 Piece Front Driveshaft (Standard Parts) 1310 Joints with U-bolts to Dana 30, Richmond Gears with a Lincoln Locker, Warn 29 Splined Hardened Axles with Warn Unlockable Hubs (Front is Overdriven), Wildwood Calipers and Aluminum Disc Brakes, High Steer Kit with Oversized Tie Rod, Drag Link, Pittman Arm, Steering Box Reinforced.
*Tires & Wheels - 2 35x14.50x15 Kerley Cut Boggers on Real Aluminum Wide Fives on Rear, 2 35x14x15 Pro Cut Ground Hawgs, 4 Wide Five Adapters 5 on 5 1/2
The engine and transmission have been installed and the rest is up to you. This is a chance to set things up under the hood and cockpit as you like it. The entire setup was run on this Jeep for years and will be plug and play.
The engine has one season on it and was run on a 2600b rail. The rebuild was done by Josh Thomas. He and his father have over 40 years of AMC experience and are loyal mud and drag racers.
I am not going to set a price. Interested parties feel free to contact me via text and feel free to call with any questions.
Go ahead...make me an offer.
Here is a video that was made by Custom Built Racing Videos that gives you an idea of what this Jeep will sound and look like with you in it. (Same Jeep just different paint and with out the Power Pro Hood)
