This Mazda GTX was one of six factory group A rally cars. Later converted to a street car and later to a land speed record car. It was built by Patrick Racing and has a full roll cage, AWD, water injection, billet crank, fire and safety systems, programmable fuel injection, adjustable intake and exhaust cam timing, Quarter master clutch, autometer liquid filled gauges, tell tale tach, Kirky seat and 5 point belts.
Spares include 3 sets of wheels, pistons and disassembled second motor.
The car set one mile record of 154 mph and LSR at Bonneville of 177 mph. Was putting out 450 hp but now detuned from 25 to 15lbs of boost for street/track use at about 300-325 at 8500 rpm. Has smaller turbo for faster boost. Street legal but lots of fun.
Only 9k original miles, car and all spares go. STI performance for 1/4th the price.
