Break the chain with built-to-last, built-to-win camshaft belt drives from Jesel. For engine builders and racers currently running chain or gear drives Jesel offers cost effective alternatives--solid upper pulley design systems. Made in the USA, these camshaft belt drives feature a solid, one piece hard-coated billet upper pulley design that offers cam timing adjustability of ± 8 degrees. Proven standard features such as a 25 mm reinforced HTD belt, bronze thrust washers and high vacuum PTFE-coated cam and crank seals will reward you with years of dependable service. Camshaft belt drives reduce oil windage, they are significantly stronger than timing chains and are gentler than gear drives on the valvetrain. Patented High Torq Drive™ reinforced belt operates dry and spins with less friction than timing chains or gear drives and also absorbs harmonics.
Cam timing adjustment is made externally providing the easiest and most accurate tuning available.
Teflon® coated high vacuum cam and crank seals.
Crank Pulley is heat-treated steel and incorporates a High Torq Drive™ tooth configuration.
Cam timing is externally adjustable. Kit hardware is all Grade 8 Allen and Torx™ head design.
2 Piece Upper Pulley Design is infinitely adjustable ±10°.
Solid Upper Pulley Design is adjustable ±8° in 2° increments.
Hard coated Billet Aluminum Upper Pulley features patented High Torq Drive™ tooth configuration.

Jesel’s Belt Driven Distributor systems, a direct bolt-on accessory to our Camshaft Belt Drives, eliminates timing inaccuracies due to camshaft deflection and cam walk. A typical gear driven distributor running off camshaft has the possibilty of retarding the initial ignition setting at high RPM due to the camshaft twisting from torsional loads. By driving the distributor drive directly off the camshaft pulley, ignition timing stays constant and will not deviate from the initial settings. Another benefit to using our Belt Driven Distributors is the ability to set the engine back further in the chassis without worrying about firewall or windshield interference. A crank trigger firing system along with an external ignition box is required for all Belt Driven Distributor systems.
