In 1931, Ford was producing their second major successful car named the Model A this car had features that were many steps above its predecessor. Fast forward 85 years later and this Model A has many modern amenities that would astonish the assembly man and engineers of its day including cruise control, air conditioning, electric windows, and an AM/FM stereo and the modern changes do not stop with the creature comforts. The drive train on this car is a small block Chevrolet 350 CID V8 with an automatic transmission dropped into a chassis from The Rod Shop. Transferring the power to the rear wheels is a chromed-out independent rear suspension out of a corvette and a 3.08 gear ratio for low RPM highway cruising. Bringing you back to a stop quickly is a set of disc brakes on all four corners. This steel-bodied Model A is a car that would be great for the trips to the local car show or cruises on the weekend.
