1998 Mustang GT with 5.3 LSX swap and 1995 Mustang V6 parts car
2001 5.3L Tahoe/Silverado engine with under 35k miles. Had the heads off earlier this year to put MLS head gaskets on for future plans, it's extremely clean in there. Fresh TH350 transmission with forward pattern manual valve body, and a stall. Engine has TSP 228R cam, LS1 intake, and long tube headers to bullet mufflers. 4.10 gears. 8 gallon fuel cell in trunk, A1000 fuel pump, service-able filter, c5 corvette regulator, OE style line from regulator to rail.
AJE LSX swap tubular k-member, stock length tubular A-arms, coil overs (front), caster/camber plates, square tube upper & lower control arms (rear), stock V6 rear springs and shocks, weld-in subframe connectors, and torque boxes welded. Stock GT rear sway bar, front included but not installed. Stock GT wheels with nearly new 275/45/17 HTRZ2 in rear (less than 200 miles), fronts are 245/50/17's with about 40% life left. Still has power steering, and hydro boost brakes.
Body has 171k on the odometer. Gray manual cloth seats from 95 V6 could use a good cleaning, drivers has tear in the back. B&M ratchet shifter in stock 5 speed location (the car was a manual originally, still has the clutch pedal). All lights, power windows, and keyless entry and alarm still work. Aftermarktet tach, coolant temp, oil pressure, voltmeter, OBD2 port, and check engine light functional. I use an app on my phone with a Bluetooth device for reading gps speed and other engine parameters from the OBD2 port, since the speedo isn't connected. Does not have heat/AC, or a radio. Exterior is not in great shape, has some small dings and a couple creases, clear is gone from drivers front fender, looks ok from 15 - 20ft. It would be a great plasti-dip candidate.
I purchased this car a few years ago with goals of building a big single turbo street car, and have lost interest, among having other projects going. It was turn key at that time, but needed a bunch of little things wrapped up, some interior put back in, and a better tune for driving everyday, all of which have been done. Included in the asking price is all the spare parts accumulated with the build, and the 95 V6 roller pictured. The roller has plenty of straight body panels, but is a different red color. Also, it has all of the HVAC pieces you would need for this car, and the Mach460 sound system.
This car is a great start for someone looking for an LS swap that already runs and drives and is very close to ready for boost, or spray.
I am not looking for trades, and would prefer to sell both cars together. If the buyer doesn't want the roller, some of the pieces off of it could be purchased separately if desired.
I have many pictures of the car, and of the inside of the engine from when I had the heads off, all of which I'm willing to send to interested parties.
Can offer delivery for small fee. I have several multi-car haulers, and run a small trucking company.
