-416ci LQ9 Based LS Longblock up for sale. Plans fell through for me to put this in a project of my own and now need to sell to help pay for some bills. Engine is ready to drop in and GO! Sorry, not looking for trades of any kind. Have more pics available throughout the entire build if needed. Shipping is available at buyers expense.

-LQ9 Seasoned Iron block, 4.065” Finished bore size, Generation 3 (unequal length upper row head bolt holes), Painted Gloss black with engine enamel.

-ARP main studs, ARP head studs and other ARP supplied attaching hardware used throughout.

-Coated Clevite main and rod bearings installed along with coated Durabond cam bearings. All bearing oil clearances verified via bore gauge prior to assembly.

-Callies Compstar 4 inch stroke crank, 24x reluctor wheel, STD length snout for wet sump setup. Balanced to within a .2 oz/in tolerance to the rest of the rotating assembly.

-Callies Compstar H-beam LS rods, 6.125” center to center length with dual pin-end oiling holes for better lubrication and cooling. Rod bolts stretched to proper Compstar supplied specs during assembly to ensure proper bearing crush and retention.

-Diamond 4.065” GM LS pistons. Flattop with dual valve reliefs machined into piston crowns. Coated piston skirts to help further reduce unnecessary friction and help to free up a little power. Forced pin oiling featured on the pistons as well to aid in overall durability. Total seal 1.5mm x 1.5mm x 3mm rings supplied with and used in the build. Trend supplied wrist pins. Dual spirolox used by Diamond on these pistons to secure the freefloating pins.

-GM OE front, valley, and rear covers installed. Front and valley covers painted the same gloss black as the rest of the engine block. Installed the latest version of the Gen 3 valley cover which features an integrated PCV fitting/baffling on the underside of the cover.

-GM OE truck style oil pan. Was told was the H2 design, but can’t verify for certain which application used this oil pan. Oil cooler diverter plate in place above the oil filter, but can be removed if needed for a stock or aftermarket oil cooling system. Factory windage tray also installed.

-ATI Super damper installed. Has the medium length spacing (f-body style) with the trucks being the longest and the corvettes being the shortest. Damper has the option to run AC via the 4 rib pulley behind main belt drive. 7.5 inch in diameter.

-Head steam crossover pipe and block off plates installed.

-Engine sensors: Crank, cam, and oil pressure installed. Also have a 1 bar MAP sensor if needed for the final install into vehicle.

-Aftermarket fabricated aluminum polished valve covers with mounts welded on for a set of factory ignition coils. Will also include a set of late model GM truck coils, rumored to handle the heat and vibration better than the car versions along with a slightly stronger spark.

-GM OE LS3 heads. Heads brand new and never run previously. Intake and exhaust ports slightly reshaped and cartridge rolled finished to help improve the already impressive flow of these heads for the money spent. GM casting number 0821. Original valves run, the intakes are hollow to shave some weight and save on moment of inertia losses. The exhausts are sodium filled for improved heat transfer to the guides and eventually the coolant. Aftermarket upgraded valve springs good for .675” lift replace the originals along with the correctly sized titanium retainers and locks. Stock valve guides and new valve seals installed during the spring swap.

-Comp branded T&D Machine shaft mount adjustable rockers installed.

-Cam is a Comp Cams solid roller. Cam card will be given to the new owner. Would recommend to verify correct valve lash periodically.

-Comp Cams Magnum 3/8” pushrods used with a wall thickness of .080”.

-Comp solid roller lifters used. They are advertised to have improved oiling to the lifter wheel compared to their previous versions but still wouldn’t recommend any unnecessary engine idling to keep oil splash at a satisfactory level for lifter lubrication.

-Crane Cams Billet double roller adjustable timing gear/oil pump drive set. Set to 0 currently, but can be changed to slightly alter cam characteristics. Stock GM cam retainer plate, bolts and upper cam gear bearing. Cam endplay is approx. .005”.

-Melling 10296 high volume-high pressure oil pump used and prelubed with white lithium grease. The rest of the engine will need to be prelubed with pressurized oil prior to starting for the first time to prevent damage from oil starvation while the pump fills all the block passages.

-GMPP 4 barrel performance single plane intake installed. Has provisions for injectors if the cast-in bosses are machined for what is needed. Intake was gasket matched to the head intake ports and also some slight cartridge rolling inside the intake. Has a 1 inch carb/throttle body spacer. If fuel injection wanted, could just put a 4150 style throttle body on the intake and as above, machine the bosses for the injectors. -4 fitting on intake along with a nipple on the carb spacer for vac signals or PCV sources.

-Have engine stand that could go with the longblock if needed.

-MSD 24x LS timing controller is also available if needed for the new owner’s setup in an older vehicle.

-Used GM OE MLS head gaskets.

-MSD plug wires and NGK plugs

-TFS timing chain damper installed to manage timing chain deflections while the engine is running.
