288" WB Top Alcohol, Top Dragster, or Outlaw/Quick 16 roller for sale/trade
New pro mod is here so I am selling my dragster. There is $18,000 in new Carbon fiber parts on this car and $4,000 into the new back half alone. This car turnkey will run in the 3.50s-3.60's w/ a good motor. Excellent quick 8/quick 16 outlaw dragster and will be competitive against any car in the country or you could de tune it and run easy 6.00 brackets for Top Dragster anywhere in the world. With carbon brakes and a couple of safety updates this car could run TAD. As of right now there are no more than 6 or 7 cars in the country that will run 3.60's.
No expense was spared and almost all of this car is new. Car has been stripped down to the bare frame and every nut and bolt has been gone over. This car has many speed secrets that ARE NOT LISTED. Formerly driven in NHRA TAD by Mike Austin, Chris Demke even drove it once. The chassis had about 200 runs on it then it was front halved by Mike Austin and ran with a 2400 hp roots motor for 2 eighth mile events. I just had the car back halved and it has not been ran since. This car would make a great TAD, a top dragster, or as an outlaw heads up dragster, which is what we were going to run it in. PDRA has a class for the outlaw dragsters and Florida already has a group called the Open outlaws, there are others as well plus a lot of quick 8 and quick 16 races. I was going to try to set the 1/8 mile and 1/4 mile world records with it but went to the door car dark side...lol
This car does almost everything for you. Simply press the first Halo LED button and everything powers on, even the air bottle is opened for you. Next, Simply hold the burnout button during the burn out and the power grid rev limits the car for you, the auto shifter puts the car in high gear for you, and will not start any of the timers. When you press the trans brake button to get the car in reverse the auto shifter will automatically put the car back into low gear to back up and will attempt to put the car into low again when you put the car into forward (Already was in low but its a dbl safety), now simply push the other LED Halo button and the next time you release the trans brake your timers will start and the data logger will begin recording allowing absolutely no mistakes.
Now onto the car:
The new carbon body panels are well under way and will be installed soon. If the car is purchased before then I will have the panels shipped to the owner. That person would have to final trim the panels, cut the dsus holes, and mount the doubler plates (Easy) I will work on the panels as they are completed.
The chassis is certed for NHRA TAD and expires in Feb 2016.
Everything is SFI certified and current except engine diaper.
The chassis is a copy of a Hadman with some slight differences and added safety features.
Front halved in 2007 by Mike Austin and only ran in two 1/8 mile events since.
Back halved in 2014 by Tig masters (Welded Sheldon Bissesor's world record holding TD chassis when he worked for ASE Ironman) has rub blocks and pro jack tabs.
